Ahh, the first day of April. You can already smell the sweet spring flowers and feel the warm summer breeze creeping upon us. That being said, with warmer weather comes the spring / summer wardrobe we’ve all been dying to wear out.

*** Would also like to preface that trends tend to fade after a season or two. Keep this in mind if you’re shopping for items this spring / summer. Try to invest your money in items you can utilize multiple times, for multiple seasons. Go vintage shopping, rent items, borrow stuff from your gal pals, etc. But if you really love an item that you know is an investment piece to have for multiple seasons / occasions— do ya thang!

Taste the Rainbow
Why not wear every and any color this season? Coming in first with spring pastels, the focus is on Mellow Yellow and Baby Blue to welcome the April flowers. The color focus then transitions to something more eye-catching like Red, Bubblegum Pink, Y2k Green, or Tangerine for summertime.
Neutral & Natural
Bone White, Taupe, and Jet Black are great colors to invest in for any season. Wearing any of these neutral colors is a sure way to accentuate your glowy, summer skin.
